A tale of a son’s dream and a mother’s hope for a better life. The filial son goes on a journey on the high seas, in search of his fortune. He becomes the King’s favourite, marries the beautiful princess. With all his prayers being answered, greed inevitably takes over. Dreams. Hope. Sacrifice. Greed. A family’s harmony in jeopardy. Does the nature of self determine it all? This integrated production of song, dance and theatre is performed in Malay, with English surtitles.
